今天又挖出了它想說放一兩偏paper進去閱讀 Actually reading papers on an e-reader was always my original intention but it didn't work very well due to the small screen so I gave up on that. I had tried basic stuff like trimming the margins but it had not made enough of a difference. The papers were still unpleasant to read an on e-reader.
Today I decided to Google search "format 2 column paper for ereader" and lo and behold I found that 4 years ago someone had asked this very question on ResearchGate. The top answers recommended k2opt which is fucking amazing! All I had to do was download the binary and run it on my pdf and out came something that works perfectly with my fake-Kindle. Why didn't I find out about this three years ago? (Given that the site looks like it hasn't been redesigned since the 90s, it's not surprising there aren't more people who know about this software.)

不過這台Greenbook實在爛到不行,in addition to the aforementioned slowness the touchscreen is now partially broken,是不是該買Kindle了?
